Sourced from Italian designer deadstock, this is a stunning medium weight woven with a twill weave. A very versatile weight (think mid-weight denim with light stretch), this fabric can be worn year 'round and can be dressed up or down. It has about 5% give in the width with some cottony crispness in the drape. The color is a lovely scarlet red with a generous width of 60" and it looks about the same on both sides. The twill weave shows on the face while the reverse has the appearance of a plain weave. A perfect choice for jeans, lightweight jacket, skirt, shorts, vest, topper coat, pencil skirt or skirt suit, etc. Machine wash, tumble dry.
